I Suffered A Workplace Injury In San Francisco. Can I File A Lawsuit?

by brettb on September 17, 2009

It depends.  If you suffer an injury at work in San Francisco or anywhere in California, and if your employer has workers’ compensation insurance, then you would not be able to sue your employer directly.

However, if you were injured at work because of the negligence of another party – like an outside vendor, contractor, or because of a defective product – then you may have an action against that party (who is not your employer).

If you or a member of your family has suffered a workplace injury in the San Francisco area and you need help, give me a call at (415) 293-8231 so we can discuss your accident in more detail.

Or you can e-mail me at info@burlisonlaw.com.
