The Insurance Company Has Said That They Will Only Pay My Medical Bills If I See The Doctor They Tell Me To; Do I Have To Go To Their Doctor?

by brettb on September 14, 2009

No, you have the right to see your own doctor.  Often insurance companies will attempt to send you to a doctor that they prefer in order to control your medical expenses and the course of treatment.  This is not acceptable.

See your own doctor, whether he or she is here in San Francisco or elsewhere – and make sure that you discuss with your doctor everything that you may be experiencing physically, emotionally or psychologically because of your injuries.

If you or a member of your family has been injured in an auto accident in the San Francisco area and you need help, give me a call at (415) 293-8231 so we can discuss your auto accident in more detail.

Or you can e-mail me at info@burlisonlaw.com.
