What If A Person Dies Before Bringing A Personal Injury Lawsuit?

by brettb on September 21, 2009

If someone dies before filing a personal injury lawsuit regarding an accident she was involved in, a personal injury lawsuit can still be filed.  If the injury victim dies because of the injuries she suffered in her accident, her heirs may recover money through a lawsuit. And if she dies from unrelated injuries or causes, normally her personal injury claim will survive and can be brought by an executor of her estate or personal representative.

If you or a member of your family have been injured in a personal injury accident, or if you have lost a loved one in the San Francisco Bay Area and you need help, give me a call at (415) 293-8231 so we can discuss your accident in more detail.

Or you can e-mail me at info@burlisonlaw.com.
