What Is A MTBI?

by brettb on October 2, 2009

MTBI stands for Mild Traumatic Brain Injury.  It affects more than 750,000 people in the United States every year and far too many here in the San Francisco area.

Traumatic brain injuries are ranked or graded based on the degree of severity. A MTBI can take place when someone suffers a head injury even though it may not seem that serious.  It can be caused by a relatively mild blow to the head.

If you or a member of your family have been involved in a car accident, fall, or workplace injury and you believe that you have suffered a head injury of any type, seek medical care immediately. Once you have obtained the medical attention that you need, give me a call at (415) 293-8231 so we can discuss your accident in more detail.

Or you can e-mail me at info@burlisonlaw.com.
